Get ready for some Tejano music meets Latin Rock showdown, it’s what one listener had to say after Mike Medina & the South Side Evolucion concert. But it is their musical delivery, which is full of emotion, strength and perseverance that excites and entertains crowds whenever they perform, thrilling audiences with soulful vocals, a driving rhythm section and jaw- dropping keyboard licks.

Although their band line up is impressive, it’s that “South Side” magic, maturity and professionalism that make them one of the more exciting and entertaining bands to hit Mid-west in a long time. "With music, our goal is not to be famous, but to stay true to our Tejano roots, we feel we have been blessed with certain musical abilities and it is an honor to share the richness of our culture with both new and old audiences.
